To clarify what the OP was asking is to have download amazon prime video windows 10 app so you can "download" the movies from Amazon directly to their device so they can watch them when traveling and don't have access to WIFI in and airplane. I purchased my Lenovo X1 carbon laptop for travel and found out this was not available on "Microsoft" believe me when I say I will "NEVER" purchase a computer with a Microsoft OS again especially in this day and age of streaming services of which you don't allow.

Don't get me started on all the "Google apps" you don't offer. There is a reason people did not buy the windows phone and sooner rather then later no one will want a PC with Windows.
Almost forgot I can download "Amazon Prime Video" app to the Xbox which is hmmm oh ya a Microsoft OS so don't tell me this is an Amazon thing. Maybe installing Android in a VM software like VirtualBox works?

You need to be able to download the video and you therefore need the prime app. I heard it was because of of digital rights management and that it was Amazon's restriction ��. They had an app but I don't know where it went. Maybe it's being upgraded. I'd keep checking the MS Store app. Since Amazon is responsive to Prime members, I'd let them know about it, too.
